To make this homemade antiseptic, you will need regular sugar and 10% Povidone Iodine. Use the amount of sugar that you want your finished product to be (example, a cup of sugar will make a cup of Sugardine).
- Mix one part 10 percent povidone-iodine with sugar (1 cup of sugar to 1/10th cup of the Iodine) Mix thoroughly.
- Add a little more or less to give it the thickness that you desire. I like it a little thicker but easy to spread.
Put this mixture in a sealed container and store for later use. It will settle over time so give it a good mixing now and then.
